Meet The Founder

Adesuwa Olanrewaju-Dada is Nigerian born Event entrepreneur and project manager with extensive experience in the event industry specialising in planning, coordinating, technology and teaching. Based in Lagos, she creates breathtaking events and experiences for clients and  brands that leaves the testimony “you know your onions” in the mouth of several clients. She is the sister who indeed sticks closer than a planner! Share your ideas with her and go to sleep.

At Dws Events, she has led lead teams and vendors to deliver complex projects using digital tools. She has collaborated with over 200 vendors, Individuals, brands, government entities from 6 states within Nigeria. She was responsible for bringing to life the first biggest imaginary wedding shoot “Akugbe” conceived by ceomaniaalasooke to life. She founded the save the event industry initiative, a platform and hub to educate and enlighten vendors, couples to be and celebrants at large on everything event related. She created a platform called STEI for the passionate eventpreneur who is ready to make an impact through seamless operations and delivery of quality service.

She has a personal degree in project management, Entrepreneurship, Business management, HR, team management etc watched via YouTube,read in books and actual online courses.

She has also worked with the google as the country coordinator for google arts and culture in Nigeria where she worked closely with about 6 cultural institutions and Museums, Terrakulture, Nigerian tourism and development corporation, Lagos fashion week, Kalakuta museum, and Yemisi shyllon.  She also spearheaded the creative Lagos project, a project aimed at shining light on the creative community i.e Fashion, arts, music etc in Lagos.

She was also responsible for the first ever Art camera and street view collection in Africa. She is very passionate about the teenage girls and has been giving back to that community as a CSR of her company.
